He has taught creativity at various institutions including SABC3, Wits University Post Graduate Centre, RAU (now University of Johannesburg) Communications Department, the AAA School of Advertising, and Vega School of Brand Marketing. He has worked as an advertising copywriter at Hunt Lascaris FMC. A book he co-edited, A WRITER IN STONE, made it to number one on South African bestseller lists.
